Illustrated talk by archaeologist Ed Lyne about his exciting discoveries at Lissaniska ringfort, partially excavated on the route of the N70 Kilderry Bends road project.

The excavations revealed that this 1,250 year-old ringfort was enclosed by three concentric, water-filled ditches and uncovered rare evidence of early medieval flax cultivation and woodworking, including wooden vessels preserved in the water-logged conditions.
