The Heritage Council is proud to be associated with the valuable heritage conservation and research work being being carried out by individuals, community groups and organisations all over Ireland.
In order to be of benefit to the wider community, any project offered funding by the Heritage Council also participates in National Heritage Week.
We have brought together just a few stories of the great work being done by Bat Conservation Ireland, Birdwatch Ireland, the Baltray Little Terns Conservation Scheme, Mulranney Environmental Group, the Irish Peatland Conservation Council and Merlin Park Woods.
