Wildflower Workshop on Ardee Bog

Join Friends of Ardee Bog for a walk on Ardee Bog to look at and learn about the flowers and plants that call the bog home. On this walk we will collect some wildflowers to create a new handmade book on the Wildflowers of Ardee Bog. The walk will be followed by a cup of tea, chat and a workshop in which participants will press flowers for the book, learn how to correctly label them and take part in a playful creative writing exercise. Participants will get to take a birch ply flower press home with them.

Please be mindful that we will only be able to accommodate ticket holders who have pre-booked a ticket. This walk will take place across the bog, which does not have boardwalks or path infrastructure and unfortunately is not accessible for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility.
Admission fee is €5.
