Wild Child Day - Woodkids Forest School

Play, connect with nature and make friends in the woods! This taster event is aimed at children and families who are new to Forest School.

10am - 11:30 am : Parent & Child Group. For children aged 18months - 5 years old accompanied by a carer.

A gentle introduction to Forest School for youngsters : messy play, nature crafts, games, songs and storytelling.

Please book one ticket per child. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 18 months may accompany a sibling without booking. The path is accessible for buggies. Toilets and handwashing facilities available at the main entrance. Places are limited, booking essential.

1pm- 3pm : Kids only group. For children aged 5 - 10 years old.

Come join us for two hours of play in the forest under the guidance of two Woodkids Forest School Leaders. Participants can choose to get involved in bush craft, nature art, games and storytelling activities. Please book one ticket per child. Max 15 spaces available - booking essential.

This Wild Child Day event is financially supported by The Heritage Council and Kilkenny County Council and aligns with the Kilkenny Biodiversity Action Plan 2025-2030.

Please note that dogs aren't allowed at the event.
