The Western Family History Association (WFHA) is a genealogy group based in County Galway. We are a self-help group for members and organise regular talks, workshops and other events on genealogy and family history.
This year for Heritage Week 2025 we are hosting a drop-in workshop in Galway City Library, St Augustine St., Galway, (H91 R6WF} on 19th August 2025 between 10:30 am and 1:30 pm.
Admission is open to the general public and is free.
You are invited to bring your genealogical research queries to experienced members of the WFHA who will be in attendance to offer one-to-one advice on sources and strategies for researching your family history.
