Discover this new self-guided tour around the Grangegorman campus which uncovers the history of the site with an audio guide, original photographs of the site, short stories, poetry and videos.
This exciting history trail was developed by Grangegorman Histories and researchers from the POT Research Centre at TU Dublin, led by Dr Damon Berry (School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering) and developed by Finbarr O’Meara, Fatima Badmos and Dr Mayank Parmar.
The Grangegorman site is an area of approximately 73 acres, north of the River Liffey and south of the Royal Canal. It is bounded by the North Circular Road to the north, Prussia Street and Stoneybatter to the west, and Brunswick Street to the south.
Grangegorman Histories is a public history programme of research and shared discovery of the Grangegorman site and surrounding communities. The buildings of Grangegorman stand as architectural monuments to that past and its complex histories.
