Walking Tour of Kilcorcoran and Coolavota

Duhallow Heritage Society, along with local historian Kit O'Sullivan Hannigan, will host a local history walking tour of Kilcorcoran graveyard, which features headstones dating back to the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, as well as the ruins of the old medieval church. The walk will continue down the Old Road to the site of the former mass house in the old village of Coolavota. We will hear cultural stories and folklore.

Refreshments will be served afterwards in the Lismire GAA Hall.
