Join Archaeologist and Historian Barry Lacey of 'Slaneyside Heritage' in a guided tour of Enniscorthy exploring its revolutionary heritage focusing on the period 1916-1923, encompassing the 1916 Rising, War of Independence and Irish Civil War. We will visit locations within the town associated with persons, stories and incidents from the period. In keeping with this years theme 'Heritage at Risk' we will learn about the vulnerability of this heritage and what can be done to ensure its preservation
