“Unearthed” LEGO Mission Challenge!
Join FIRST Lego League 2026 all Ireland champions Cully Coders, to see first-hand their coded LEGO robots complete a host of archaeological missions in under 2.5 minutes! Recently returned from the Canada Cup having won 3rd place out of 98 international teams.
From shipwreck underwater salvage, up-standing toppled monuments, to finding ‘who lived here’ houses and historic food market stalls, there are many challenges to complete. Not only that, have a go at an archaeological excavation and scan your item on the LEGO QR scanner to find out more about your unique artefact.
Meet archaeologist Kate Robb and hear about how our historic shipwrecks, monuments and buried archaeology is at risk from climate change, and what we can all do to take action now. This is an event not to be missed, and we can’t wait to see you there.
Live LEGO mission demonstrations at 2pm, 2.30pm and 3pm.
