‘Housekeeping Past and Present’ Behind the Scenes Tour of Malahide Castle
Enjoy a rare behind the scenes tour of Malahide exploring the origins of housekeeping in the early modern period, through huge innovation in the 18th and 19th centuries right up to the present day. The tour will cover the modern conservation standards that keep the building and preciouscollection in good condition while also celebrating the hard work and professional insight of the many domestic servants who spent their lives working here.

Booking isn't required. Places on the tour will be offered on a first come first served basis on the day. Arrive early to avoid disappointment.
