Tree Walk at Tintern Abbey Wexford

Join Tintern Trails, together with the OPW at Tintern Abbey, for a one-hour tree walk through the beautiful Tintern Forest.

Tintern Forest is home to a wonderful variety of trees, from familiar native species to some of the older and more unusual trees found around the Abbey and woodland.

On this gentle exploration, we’ll discover some of the trees of Tintern, learn a little about how to identify them, and hear about their place in the history and natural heritage of the area.

It’s a great opportunity to get outdoors, enjoy the woodland and look at the familiar landscape around Tintern in a different way. 🌳

What to bring:
Comfortable clothes and suitable footwear for a woodland walk. Depending on the weather, you may also want a rain jacket and water.

🐕 Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead.

The event is free and everyone is welcome.
