Tour of Anaverna House

Anaverna is a Georgian House constructed by a local builder, Thadeus Gallagher (or Gallier) from a pattern book which contained simplified and rescaled drawings of a grander and older house which had been designed by a proper archictect.

I enjoy telling people about the house, the people who lived here and their place in Irish history. If I have time you might get a cup of tea or perhaps. a croquet lesson.
