Stapleton's Bakery has been delighting customers with its baked goods since its inception in 1920. Founded by Joe and Mary Stapleton, the bakery has steadfastly adhered to quality-first baking methods, always selecting the finest flours, buttermilk, and other ingredients to produce exceptional products.
Over the years, Stapleton's Bakery has experienced significant growth and modernization. In 2002, the company expanded into a 36,000 sq. ft purpose-built food manufacturing plant located along the M7 motorway. In 2012, implemented advanced weighing and traceability systems to enhance product quality. These advancements allowed the bakery to produce a wide range of top quality products, including handmade soda and wheaten breads that are as close to homemade as possible.
Stapleton's Bakery employs over 80 people, contributing significantly to the local economy in Roscrea. The company is also committed to environmentally friendly practices, such as reducing food waste by turning surplus items into animal feed and finding ways to cut waste through improved production methods.
