Stapleton's Bakery has been delighting customers with its baked goods since its inception in 1920. Founded by Joe and Mary Stapleton, the bakery has steadfastly adhered to quality-first baking methods, always selecting the finest flours, buttermilk, and other ingredients to produce exceptional products. The tour will start at 11am from the location in photo above, Limerick Street, Roscrea. We will then take a short walk to the bakery's present location at Parkmore Industrial Estate, Roscrea.
Over the years, Stapleton's Bakery has experienced significant growth and modernization. In 2002, the company expanded into a 36,000 sq. ft purpose-built food manufacturing plant located along the M7 motorway. In 2012, implemented advanced weighing and traceability systems to enhance product quality. These advancements allowed the bakery to produce a wide range of top quality products, including handmade soda and wheaten breads that are as close to homemade as possible.
