Over a century has passed since the tragic sinking of the RMS Titanic. Join us at Maynooth Castle for an engaging talk exploring the lives of the Kildare men and women connected to this history. Learn about the passengers and crew aboard the world's most famous ship when it left Ireland on its maiden voyage in April 1912.

Discover the story of Father Brown, the Jesuit priest and photographer who captured the last ever image of the Titanic as she left the docks for the final time. Hear how Kildare's famed polar explorer Ernest Shackleton would be summoned to give his expertise to the British Inquiry in the aftermath of the sinking.
