The Story of Us in Ardcath, Clonalvy & Bellewstown
A century of Irish history was unlocked as the National Archives officially released the digitized records of the 1926 Census. This landmark publication marked the first-ever census conducted by the independent Irish Free State, providing a window into the lives of our citizens 100 years ago.
Aileen Wynne a Genealogist with two decades of experience has a passion for family history and genetic genealogy. She will delve into some records of the youngest, the oldest, the missing....., on the register with a view of getting everyone attending on the day familiar with and exploring their own connections on the 1926 register. She will also look at the importance of cross-referencing previous Census records, Church records, the National Library archives and various other Genealogy records.
