The Scar, St John's Point

Although little is known about its origins, it is thought to represent a former harbour, offering a fascinating opportunity to discuss changing coastlines, archaeological investigation, and the impacts of climate change on our coastal heritage. Good footwear is essential as fields and rocks can be wet and slippery.
We will access The Scar, along the Bunlaghy Shore through the fields.
