The Potts Family and Correen Castle

Moore History Group will give a talk by its chairperson, Padraic Kilduff, entitled "The Potts Family and Correen Castle". This event will take place in the rear function room of Moore Community Hall (N37HT68) on Saturday, 22nd August, at 7pm. The talk will cover a period from the early 1700s to the 1940s and feature the Potts families from county Westmeath and their connections to Correen Castle in South Roscommon.

The talk will include the Potts residences and associated property, for example, in Dublin, Athlone, Ballinasloe, East Galway, North Roscommon, Offaly and Tipperary as well as the trials and tribulations of the various members of the families who lived or were associated with Correen Castle.
