The Old House in a League of Its Own

Exhibition on history of the National Land League and Windgap's involvement in same.
The old League House was renovated in 1979.

During Heritage Week we will temporarily bring the interior of the building back to life, repopulating the building with furniture and objects loaned by people from Community.

2 models on display interpret the history and heritage of the House . 4 x Banners tell the story of Michael Davitt, co founder of National Land League, women's Role in the Land League, Windgap's involvement in the Land League and how it affected the Community and Legacy of Land League.

The League House will remain open from Saturday 15th August to Friday 21st August 2026 on a daily basis from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
