Preparing the National Folklore Collection for Relocation to UCD Library

This joint presentation offers a behind-the-scenes look at the National Folklore Collection as it prepares for relocation to UCD Library. Jonny Dillon, Director of the NFC will introduce the collection, its history and scope, while Julia Poirier, UCD book and paper conservator will share insights into the careful work of rehousing and preparing the material for its move. Together, they will trace the journey of the collection into its next chapter.
