Breaking Barriers: The Life and Work of Kathleen Lonsdale - Pioneer, Prison Reformer & Peacemaker. Heritage Week Exhibition Honours Dame Kathleen Lonsdale at Newbridge Business Centre

To mark Heritage Week, Newbridge Business Centre is proud to honour its most famous resident, pioneering Irish scientist Dame Kathleen Lonsdale (1903–1971), with a special exhibition celebrating her extraordinary life and groundbreaking contributions to science.

The exhibition will be held at Charlotte House, Dame Kathleen’s birthplace, located in the heart of Newbridge town centre. This historic building, now a state-of-the-art business centre and co-working hub, offers a unique opportunity for visitors to learn more about one of the 20th century’s most influential crystallographers.

Open to the public from August 19th-22nd, the exhibition runs daily from 12 pm to 3 pm, inviting all to explore Dame Kathleen’s remarkable legacy and tour the beautifully restored Charlotte House.

Admission is free, and all are welcome.
