  • D01H4C6
  • Co. Dublin – Dublin City

Join local historian Rob Goodbody for a fascinating illustrated talk on the long and layered history of Bullock Harbour, one of Dublin’s most distinctive coastal landmarks.
From its medieval origins under the Cistercian monks to its role as a pilot station, coal port, boatbuilding hub, and fishing harbour, Bullock has evolved continually over the centuries — and remains in active use today.
Rob , Historic Building Consultant & Local Historian, will explore key moments in the harbour’s development, including the 1818 construction works, the rise and fall of its maritime industries, and the rich social and working life that shaped the harbour’s unique character.
