Wolfe Tone, Irish Revolutionary is a forensic look at the private and public lives of the 'Father of Irish Republicanism.' As Tone lies dying in his prison cell, he sees before him scenes from his life where he meets his wife, Matilda who acts as his defence' and three other women of the era who act for the prosecution. Meantime, Tone is cross examined by Lords Castlereagh and Fitzgibbon.'
