The Art of Storytelling – Creating Stories with Story Cubes

This creative workshop invites children to explore the art of storytelling through imagination, language, and play. Using story cubes and a collection of words in both Irish and English, participants will create their own stories by making spontaneous connections between images, ideas, and words.

The activity encourages children to develop their reading, writing, and creative thinking skills while discovering the joy of building stories from simple elements. By playing with language and imagination, children will experience how stories can emerge from unexpected combinations and learn that everyone has the ability to become a storyteller.
