Talk by Rory O'Shaughnessy on Noble Alliances, Heraldic Achievements and Marriage Stones

Rory O'Shaughnessy, Heritage Specialist will give a talk on Noble Alliances, Heraldic Achievements and Marriage Stones, with particular reference to the Marriage Stone that is on display in Ardrahan Church. Ecclesiatical buildings have been on the church site since the 10th century and there are links to landowning families in the area over many centuries. The event starts at 6pm, on Sunday 16th August and music will be provided by Téada Binne, an Early Music Harp Duo
