Story time at the Davitt Museum

Would you like to ease your children gently back to school? Why not join us at the Davitt Museum for a free morning of inspiring storytelling?

This event will offer children from 6 to 8 an opportunity to hear stories of history, heritage and folklore read from the beautiful Poolbeg series of children's books on Irish heroes. Designed for children and young readers, the books tell inspiring true stories of major figures from Irish history, mythology, and social movements. The storytelling will be fun and engaging.

Storytelling will run from 10am to 1pm and children can join at any time. All children MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
