Heritage Week in the Cassandra Hand Folk and Famine Centre will cover both the rich Built and Cultural Heritage of the town of Clones and its people.

There will be:
4 daily morning guided walking town tours of Clones Monastic Sites and rich history.
5 daily afternoon sessions of recorded oral history from the people who lived in/grew up in Clones.
Talk, walk, history of four sites on the newly mapped Clones to Clogher Pilgrim Pathway that was launched in March 2026 in joint partnership with Clogher Village Forum.

Walking on footpaths and gravel paths, some steps and gates, gradual inclines, graveyard paths and grass, narrow in places. Dress according to the weather on the day, comfortable footwear.
