Stones, Songs and Stories of Forkhill

Stones, songs and stories will celebrate the built and cultural heritage of the village of Forkhill. The event taking place in the deconsecrated Church of Ireland, built by the landlord Richard Jackson, showcases heritage and culture, songs and music, stories and oral tradition of the area from the arrival of Jackson in 1776 to present day.
Featuring an eight piece Seanre Ceili Band, of young people from 12 to 15 years, musicians, singers & oral tradition historians we proudly present an unique living history event covering 250 years.
