St Feichin’s Mill in Fore is one of the Seven Wonders of Fore, referred to as ‘The Mill without a Race’.  The mill has long gone out of use and now survives as a ruin.

Meet Conservation Architect Fergal McNamara for a talk about St Feichin’s Mill. Fergal McNamara led the team that prepared a Conservation Management Plans for the Mill and the walled defences at Fore. He is now leading a project of conservation works to the Mill. Come along and hear from Fergal about the history of the mill structure and the upcoming conservation works planned there. There will be an opportunity to share memories of the mill and we would love to see any old photos you might have of the mill. Outdoor event, please dress for the weather.

Meet at the Fore Abbey Car Park.
