
Special Presentation at Dromana House: 'Henry Villiers Stuart (1803-1874) - His Marriage and His Gate Lodge'
On Sunday, 23rd, Dromana owner Barbara Grubb will deliver the paper 'Henry Villiers Stuart (1803-1874) - His Marriage and His Gate Lodge' written by Waterford historian, Julian Walton. The presentation marks the bicentenary of the 1826 marriage of Henry Villiers-Stuart of Dromana and his Austrian bride Theresia Pauline Ott, and the historic 1826 Waterford election in which the latter also won a pivotal seat in favor of Catholic Emancipation.
Fee:
30 euro per person to include presentation, visit of the house interior and garden followed by a light tea.
Booking is highly recommended as numbers are restricted.
