Sligo Field Club Journal, The Aidan Mannion Collection

There are two events together.

In the first event Editor Dr. Fiona Gallagher will discuss the Sligo Field Club journal has been printing for 10 years now, and this years volume will come out in December. It has a wide variety of articles: sea birds and wildlife in Donegal, Hazelwood mystery tree, Keash hill fort, 1667 Deed of Partition, the disenfranchisement of Sligo Borough in 1870 and many more.

In the second event Ross Mannion will talk about his fathers wonderful collection of historic objects connected to Sligo and how it will be curated and shown in the years to come with the help of the Local Authority.
