Families are welcome to bring their children (7yrs+) to make a fold-out book with covered boards and a lace tie. Along the way they will learn a brief history of book bindings from the earliest leather bound books to the use of cloth, through to paperback books.
We can accommodate 4 children at a time and the book will take approximately 15/20 minutes to complete. We will welcome participants on a first come, first served basis. Come along between the given times for the morning or afternoon session. Parents are welcome to attend and assist the children.
The children and their families are then welcome to go upstairs after their bookmaking and hunt for our minifigures.
NB: We can accommodate wheelchair users for this workshop, we will need advance notice, so please contact us before the day.
