
Wild Food Foraging & Natural Plant Dying workshops.
Two workshops engage with the ecological and cultural heritage of Bandon River. Wild food chef Kevin O'Connell will lead a food foraging workshop using riverside plants, flowers and trees. We will walk the riverbanks to discuss and gather followed by a wild food picnic. Meeting at 11am at Urru, Bandon Town.
Ecoartist Ashleigh Ellis will lead a natural plant dying workshop using riverside plants such as alder, meadow sweet and buddleja. Dyed fabric will be used as flags and bunting for RIVER GUARDIANS project. Meeting at Urru at 2pm.
