For children: Clay Workshop and Forest Club

Two events for children during Tracton Natural Heritage Festival -
11.30am - 12.30pm Clay workshop. Build confidence, focus and creativity. Make your own unique piece. Facilitated by Sabina Nagle, artist & art therapist. Tracton Arts and Community Centre.
2.30pm - 4.30pm Forest Club with Anna and Olivia of Kinsale Forest Club. Open to children age 5 - 12 years accompanied by their adults. Meet at entrance to Tracton Wood.
Forest Club values child-led play, exploration, risk-taking, community, storytelling, imagination, make-believe, songs and folklore. Providing children with valuable life skills, helps to reduce stress and strengthens their connection to the natural world around them by allowing them to spend time developing a relationship with the plants, insects, and environment around them and with each other.
