Researching your Family Heritage and History

Our Heritage Talk will form part of National Heritage Week and will consist of the following speakers -

Billy Cantillon, Local Historian and Genealogist will present and demonstrate how to research your family heritage and history using local, national and international sources to assist you in building a family tree.

Donie O’Brien of Tallow Church Renovation Committee will outline the renovation work being carried out in Phase 3 of Church Roof Restoration and will also give some practical examples to assist in local genealogy research.

The event will be advertised on our Facebook page, on Local Newspapers as well as on the Heritage Council page.
