Protecting Croagh Patrick – Walk & Talk

Join Leave No Trace Ireland for a special Heritage Week Walk & Talk exploring how we can all play a role in protecting Croagh Patrick – one of Ireland’s most iconic and treasured landscapes.

Led by an Accredited Leave No Trace Trainer, this informal gathering will offer an opportunity to learn more about the environmental and cultural heritage of Croagh Patrick, the challenges it faces, and the collective efforts underway to help safeguard it for future generations.

Participants will have the chance to meet members of the Croagh Patrick Ambassador Programme and discover how the Leave No Trace Seven Principles help guide responsible recreation and conservation on this special place.

Whether you are a regular visitor, local resident, pilgrim, outdoor enthusiast, or simply curious about the mountain, we invite you to come along, share experiences, and be part of the conversation.
