Open Music Session at Sigginstown Castle, Tacumshane

Hosting an open music session in the Coach House at Sigginstown Castle! Join us on Saturday night, August 22 from 8-11 p.m. as we sing, play and enjoy good cheer together!

All musicians welcome and guests, friends and neighbors. This is an open session and we usually go around with people starting a tune or song and others join in. We play Irish trad and also other types of music: folk, blues, light rock, sea-shanties, etc - all music types welcome!

Light refreshments and non-alcoholic beverages served. You can bring your own adult/alcoholic beverages to enjoy. It is helpful to get an RSVP on our website but not essential.

Optional tours available during Heritage Week at 12:30 and 2:30 p.m. (separate paid ticket). This event is free.

Please do not turn down the Cul-De-Sac road or use Eircode as you will need to turn around. The main gate will be open which is on the Norman Way - use Google Maps for "Sigginstown Castle". GPS and Google Maps link for public entrance: 52.205977, -6.444603. Park in designated field. The Coach House is accessible by ramp and has accessible toilets. The driveway is gravel.
