Wildlife Walk in Garrykennedy Woods

Wednesday 19 August 2026 at 6.30pm.

We will meet up near the Castle / Old Harbour.

Dr Siobhan Geraghty will be leading a nature walk through the woods at Garrykennedy. The talk will include observations on the naming traditions of plants, folklore and ecology as well the built heritage of the area.

Please note: Trip is subject to cancellation due to adverse weather, please wear suitable clothing and footwear and note that the trip will be conducted over uneven ground in places.
