Native Wildflower Seed Saving

Join us for an engaging and informative Heritage Week event celebrating the rich natural heritage of Co. Mayo. Discover the importance of native plants and learn the practical skills of seed saving at this hands-on workshop, taking place in Cong, Co. Mayo.

Led by ecologist Aine Ni Fhlatharta, the session will explore how seed saving can help protect local biodiversity, support pollinators, and preserve our natural heritage.

Whether you are a gardener, community volunteer or an interested nature enthusiast this workshop will provide the knowledge and confidence to start your own native seed-saving journey.

This event will be a combination of seed saving theory taking place at Cong Community Centre and practical seed saving measures, taking place in adjoining areas outdoors.

Please dress for the weather. Children will need parental guidance.
