My Favourite Place in Ireland

"My Favourite Place in Ireland" an exhibtion from the members of the Ukranian cultural centre 'Palyanytsya' is journey across the Irish landscape as seen through the eyes of the children and teachers fo the centre. Showing from Saturday 9th to Saturday 23rd August, this exhibition springs the viewer from rolling landscapes to the magnificent Cliffs of Moher to the wild stormy Atlantic Ocean back to the gentle sunsets we cherish. Included also are lighthouses and castles with tourist trails meandering across our beautiful countryside.
Captured by this wonderful group of artists, two are privileged to be introduced to their favourite places, locations which have become of great importance to each of them. This exhibition encapsulates the three aspects, Culture, Landscape and Structure which form the bedrock of this year's Heritage Week theme 'Exploring Our Foundations'.
