Guided tour of Molana Abbey by historian Niall O Brien exploring a building at risk of being forgotten. Founded in 6th Century by St. Molanfide on Dairinish Island in Blackwater River; involved in Celi De reform movement; re-established in 12th Century as Augustinian Abbey; dissolved 1541; later associated with Thomas Hariot; early 19th Century connected via causeway to the mainland.
