Maynooth Now and Then Exhibitions

Throughout 2026, the Maynooth 850 committee is leading a year-long series of events to celebrate Maynooth’s significance throughout the ages, as the medieval political capital of Ireland, an important ecclesiastical and education centre and a built heritage that boasts probably the best surviving example of a planned landlord town created by the Dukes of Leinster in the second half of the 18th century.

The “Now and Then” exhibitions, taking place during National Heritage Week tells the story of Maynooth in pictures and words.
