Maynooth Heritage Trail - Guided Tour

A guided walk around Maynooth, exploring the history and heritage of the town.
From the Medieval Quarter, containing the remains of Maynooth Castle, and the Church of Ireland, to Courthouse Square, the walk takes us along the streets and lanes of a town whose growth and development is intrinsically linked to the Dukes of Leinster, the Fitzgeralds.

The walking tour is on public footpaths, paved areas, at all times. Occasionally, we get the opportunity to access some of the buildings included in the tour.
There are major roadworks/street and path upgrades ongoing in the town at present.
We may alter our route slightly if necessary. The times given are a maximum. Guides are Maynooth Tidy Towns volunteers.
