Managing Dunes and Forestry for Biodiversity at Murvagh
We will explore the rich and attractive biodiversity at Murvagh and look to its future. Murvagh was originally all sand dunes. The conifers have added an interesting addition to the already rich biodiversity. But restoration of some of the planted dunes is now necessary, and is being undertaken by an EU LIFE project.
This event is in collaboration with Donegal County Council Biodiversity Office.
The walk leader is Ralph Sheppard.
