Logainmeacha Leachtáin

This workshop offers young people from the area a chance to learn the meaning of the names of their local town lands as well as hearing stories about these areas from those who are involved with the Latton Bawn Historical Group. Following which, young people will create artwork representing this meaning. Participants will be provided with a wide range of materials to encourage a mixed media, modern and living interpretation of their local areas.

This will also be an opportunity to learn about the ongoing work of Latton Bawn Historical Group on their ‘Field Names’ collection project.
