Life at the Abbey River

Join Ballyshannon Regeneration Group, LAWPRO and the fantastic Aengus Kennedy to discover the abundant life above and below the waterline at the mouth of the Abbey River in Ballyshannon. Suitable for families and whoever fancies it, this free event will explore the natural ecosystem in this short stretch of river from Catsby Cave, past the Abbey Mill to the Abbey Bay. Birds, River creatures and maybe a few Bats if we're lucky.

Meet at the Abbey Mill, dress warmly and wear suitable footwear for some uneven ground.

Parking is available nearby at the Abbey Graveyard and it's a short 3minute walk to the Abbey Mill.
