Lickeen lake loop Kilfenora

Come walk with us on the loop around Lickeen lake and share your lake knowledge and stories. On the way we will gather local history, look at plants, birds, wildlife, the health of the lake and talk about recent actions undertaken and in the making by two local community groups towards a thriving lake.

Those who want to participate in a demo on water harvesting in the afternoon can do so after tea and cake at the start location.

The day is co-hosted by GUAC-Ground up Artists' Collective and Clean Lickeen (subgroup Down to Earth Collective).

Car parking is limited. Carpooling, walking, cycling is advised.
The walk is 2.5 hours long, on road with ups and downs, but we can shorten it up
