Wicklow Gaol in LEGO® Workshop – Heritage Week 2025

Step into history and creativity at the Wicklow Gaol in LEGO® Workshop, a unique Heritage Week event hosted by internationally renowned LEGO® Brick Artist Jessica Farrell. Held in the atmospheric setting of Wicklow’s Historic Gaol, this free, hands-on workshop invites children aged 7+ to explore the story and architecture of the gaol through imaginative LEGO® building.

Taking place on Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd August, from 11:30am to 4:30pm (with a short break from 1:30pm to 2:00pm), the workshop follows a guided tour of Wicklow Gaol, offering young participants a chance to interpret its rich heritage in a playful and engaging way. All LEGO® elements and work trays will be provided.

Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times. Entry to the workshop is free, and children receive complimentary admission to Wicklow Gaol when accompanied by a paying adult.

This event is part of a Wicklow Town Team initiative, supported by Wicklow County Council and Wicklow Historic Gaol and funded through the Community Heritage Grant Scheme.

Spaces are limited, so come early and let your child’s creativity bring Wicklow’s past to life—brick by brick!
