Le Cheile Choir at Ennis Friary Heritage Site

National Heritage Week 2026 invites us to explore the theme of "Heritage At Risk"
Cultural heritage includes music, often passed from one generation to the next. Much of this intangible heritage is at risk due to social change, migration, and loss of intergenerational transmission.

Today is an opportunity to come and listen to and sing along with, this choir, made up of people from different choirs and individuals from county Clare, who like the social aspect of coming together to sing.

Join in with the tunes, both sacred & secular, in the wonderful acoustics of the nave at the 13th century Ennis friary where, for centuries, voices have been raised in song.
