Launch of the Rosscarbery iCAN Community Archive

Join the Rosscarbery & District History & Heritage Society and Roscarbery Tidy Towns for the official launch of the Rosscarbery iCAN Community Archive, a new online resource preserving and celebrating the rich heritage of Rosscarbery and its surrounding area. Minister Christopher O'Sullivan T. D. will join us for the Launch of this wonderful community resource built in collaboration with iCAN, Cork County Council, the National Museum of Ireland and the Heritage Council

Discover how local history has been brought together in a freely accessible digital archive featuring Past & Present Journals, oral history recordings, heritage publications, historic photographs, videos, and community research. The evening will also include a demonstration of how to navigate the website. We will also be launching the new GREEN Heritage QR-coded walk with Rosscarbery Tidy Towns.

Whether you are interested in local history, genealogy, architecture, archaeology, or community heritage, this event offers an opportunity to explore the stories, people, and places that have shaped Rosscarbery through the centuries.
